Want Flash as good or better than the Lightsphere??

As good as or better than the Stofen OmniBounce???

As good as or better than the Flip-it???

At almost NO COST to you?

Learn how to make
A Better Bounce Card !!!

Free

There is a better way.

Actually it's an old way and it has been around for years.
It's called a bounce card.

A bounce card causes you to face your flash unit up - pointing it to the ceiling, but you also put a little 3x5 index card behind the light to send some of the "caught" light forward. The Stofen Omnibounce, Flip-it and the Lightsphere do this same thing too each in their own way, but then so did the old bounce card.

Cost of the old bounce card???
It cost you a sheet of 3x5 index paper!

Cost of A Better Bounce Card???
It cost you a sheet of Inkjet Printing paper!

Compare that with the price of your favorite diffuser . . .

Why doesn't someone make something simple like a bounce card, but make it so the photographers can make it themselves and make it better than the simple old bounce card ever was?

There is something like this - it's called "A Better Bounce Card". And it is something every photographer can make themselves - without buying expensive devices - and make as many as they need!

Plus it's DIRECTIONAL, Cheap, bump someone and it won't fall off or worst yet bust off your hot shoe mount! And it's light, actually, light as a piece of paper!!

NOTE: Designed to work with flash units that bounce AND swivel.

SAMPLE PICTURES

Let me introduce you, this pretty lady is Charity.

See how SOFT the lighting is,
she looks stunning!!!

________________________________________________________

First we get ready, these were shot in our
small prep-room in front of the mirror with "ABetterBounceCard" . . .

____________________________________________________

These next pictures were shot right up against the wall in the bathroom. I am surprised we both fit in that little room!

Look how "ABetterBounceCard" handles the reflective wall, the ambient light, and the tight quarters!!!

________________________________________________________

Now here's a difficult situation in front of the same blank cream colored wall. This is tough for flash-on-the-hot-shoe photography and to make things worse, these are vertical shots which should make a much bigger shadow effect, but it does a really terrific job!!!

Your pictures can be both rich & elegant
using ambient light along with flash
. . .

Look at these gorgeous
shots taken in a large room!

All pictures in this gray box taken with a Canon 20D, 24-70 L lens, 550EX flash with "ABetterBounceCard" on the flash head. All pictures were taken with available light and a single 550ex mounted on the hot shoe of the camera. No other light source was used.

Camera report on the Canon Rebel XTi

I NEVER would have considered - The Rebel XTi - my report.
A real Sleeper camera!!!

As photographers we sometimes can be a little stuck up, or a nicer way to say it is maybe a little close-minded. Sure, we can just go with the flow without really putting some common thoughts to the test and unfortunately a lot of us do just that. I'd like to think - even hope - that I fit more into the second category. Sadly I have to admit it though, I really do have a little of the first in me too.

I want to write and share with you a little report on a "sleeper" camera. The Rebel XTi and I feel this could be important information to some folks. It's a camera I wouldn't normally have  given a second thought too, but lo and behold - it surprises me in so many places that it needs to be said.

This is such a strange thing and the results are super interesting - especially since I am now shooting with Canon 1D MK3 cameras, that I enlisted the help of my friend and a fellow professional wedding photographer, Matt Ballard, on this testing. Basically, we teamed up together to prove that this Rebel XTi/400D just cannot as they say - cut the mustard.

I live and work mostly in Miami Florida. Matt Ballard isn't really my next door neighbor though as he is all the way up in Canada. Even though there is a great distance between us geographically, we have spent a whole week or so testing, analyzing, retesting, and then going back over the data again and initiating new tests based on what was being discovered. Finally it climaxed when it was decided to shoot a wedding with the XTi along with the regular gear. I have to admit, Matt was braver than me, and he is the one who did the wedding :)  After the wedding files were in, and along with the regular test files, there were countless  hours spent on the phone burning the midnight oil well into the deep of night.

It may be an easier read if the information was presented in the question and answer format, so from here forward it will be mostly in that format:

Can you really tell me, with a straight face, be telling us to even consider a Rebel XTi when there are clearly better cameras out there and more professional too?

I fit into the mold of thinking this way too. With the 30D being one of the best bang for the buck cameras, why would any serious photographer ever consider a Rebel XTi? I was shopping at Costco (a local USA store) and walked past the cameras they had on display and the Rebel XTi was sitting there. I toyed with it a bit and thought it was a neat little toy camera. But this planted a seed in my mind and few days later while bored I looked at a few Rebel XTi files I hunted down on the web and though to myself - hey, what is going on here, is this trick-or-treat???. This evolved into the start of a test run that surprised at every turn.

What is so darn surprising about this camera??
